Steve Swift

I'm the creator of this website. I'm married to Louise Swift, we have three dogs, no children.
I'm vice tower captain and steeple keeper at St Andrew, Farnham. I also ring regulary at St Mary, Bentworth. I usually attend practice at St Lawrence, Alton, but cannot ring there on Sundays as it conflicts with the other two towers.

I started ringing some time in 1967(?) at St Mary, Handsworth, Birmingham, but lapsed after about one year when I went off to university (Birmingham, Physics, B.Sc II(1) 1971).

I re-started ringing about September 1999 after Louise had spotted an advertisement in the Medstead parish magazine. Louise also started ringing at that time.

I work for IBM United Kingdom Limited as a Senior System Specialist, mostly in website development these days, but I have a keen interest in TCP/IP networking.
