This is Poppy; we acquired her from Second Chance Rescue, Southampton, on 17th November 2002.
She had been picked up as a stray, probably after getting lost from a loving home. She's incredibly difficult to photograph, because of her amazingly glossy black coat.
She is absolutely adorable, as everyone who has met her so far agrees, with the possible exception of Sally, whose long nose is a little out of joint at this new competitor.
