Nell

This is Nell, who was a gift from our milkman, Rory, on May 14th 1999.
Rory trains sheepdogs, but little Nelly wanted to spend her life loving people, not chasing sheep. So she flunked her first year sheep-dog exam, and we got her.

Here is Nellie on holiday at Knocknafenaig, showing that her bark is worse than her bite

This picture was taken in July, 2004.

The piece of bark is from a section of the trunk of an ash tree which belonged to Bel and Bill Jabelman.  We were given several sections, and we use them as garden parasol stands.  The bark soon peels off, and Nelly likes to run around with it, and occasionally to chew it.
