This is Kerry, so called because that is where she came from, Co. Kerry in Ireland.

Kerry was a great lover: Food, Swimming, Walking and us.

She learned that the fireman next door sometimes came home so late that she would get his dinner, if she squeezed through the hole in the fence.

She took herself off for half an hour to go swimming once, in a park on our way to Mull, Scotland, and couldn't understand what all the fuss was about when she came back dripping.

Never a great athlete, she would still scamper in circles when the signs were right for a walk in our nearby forest.

She is also our only dog who has ever bitten anyone in our defence. Our builder friend, Doug, got bitten when he came into the garden unbidden. And to make sure they understood, Kerry bit his brother, Andy when he came to the rescue!
