Ringers Homepage

Bellringing (campanology) is one of the quintessential English pastimes, along with Morris dancing and cricket on the village green.
My name is Steve Swift, and I started ringing in 1967, but then stopped in 1968 when I went to university. I started again in April 1999.
I never took up Morris Dancing, unless you count lessons at primary school...

You'll find me ringing regularly at Bentworth, St Mary and Farnham, St Andrew. I also usually attend practice at Alton, St Lawrence, but cannot ring there on Sunday as it conflicts with the other two towers.

I work for IBM United Kingdom Limited as a webmaster for an internal site hosting CGI applications. I'm also keenly interested in TCP/IP Networking. If you have access to IBM internal sites, you can visit my homepage there.

This site contains information about towers in Hampshire and Sussex which have asked me to host their web pages.

If you wish, send me some feedback.
